refs/pull/* is not pushed to Forgejo — that namespace is Forgejo's own, and writing to it makes the push fail. Those refs live only in the local original, which is the more valuable place for them anyway.

sync picks up new repos automatically — it re-reads the account each time rather than working from a fixed list. A branch deleted upstream is deleted in Forgejo too; the local original keeps its objects until garbage collected.
Per-repo state is in /srv/mirrors/github/coleam00/_manifest.tsv (repo, upstream URL, last sync, HEAD sha, push result) and every run appends to _sync.log.
